Hardly anything.<br /><br />I just discovered <a href="http://www.awkwardfamilyphotos.com" target="_blank">awkwardfamilyphotos.com</a> and am still high from the effects.<br /><br />I made this blog because I suspect I will not be alone in my enjoyment. I don't think we can improve on the actual site, but we can post links to our favorite entries on awkwardfamilyphotos.com, play around with our own captions, and more to the point, meet others who share a sense of humor, and probably grew up in weird families!<br /><br />In fact, I'd LOVE to hear about your family's quirks.<br /><br /><br /><br />Here are some of my family's:<br /><br />Had as many as 12 dogs<br />Still use vocabulary developed by my sister when she was three. Examples:<br />leg sleeves = pants<br />ball of orange = an orange<br />kleenatouch = Kleenex<br />chipchick = lipstick<br />robe-on = bathrobe (as in, "put your robe on!")<br />And my personal, off the wall favorite, a pure neologism:<br /><br />"Valerina" = the gelatinous goo that develops when a bar of soap sits in a wet soap dish for a while.<br /><br />Please join me.
